The challenge of packing
What do you take with you on such a trip and what can you safely leave at home? This was our packing list for the first year on the bike...
Again and again we are asked if we are missing anything on our bike trip or if we have packed something that we don't need. To come straight to the point, yes, there is. When we returned to Switzerland for a fortnight in winter, we bought two small camping chairs, which we had always dreamed of during the first part of our cycling trip. At the same time, we left the "pocket shower" (a small water bag with shower spray) at home. But that's it, because overall we are more than satisfied with our equipment. At this point we would like to give you an overview in the form of a packing list and then go into detail about our equipment in further posts.
